| Provenance and Comments: | Tausch 10. Sent by Rochlitz to Hohenschwangau/Füssen. [Rochlitz report, p.9]. On July 9, 1941 the art dealer Gustav Rochlitz exchanged eighteen ‘degenerate’ paintings for one portrait by the artist Tizians, Portrait of a Young Lady. Most of the paintings belonged to Alfred Lindenbaum and Paul Rosenberg. There are no records as to whom the rest of the paintings belonged to.This painting is now at the National Gallery of Washington, DC. NGA | ||||||||
