| Description: | Bruxelles, Belgique-24 works of art were removed from the Office des Propriétaires, 42, rue Wiertz, a storage company in Brussels. Other works were removed from 4, Square Marie Louise in Brussels. The Brüsseler Treuhandgesellschaft and the ERR were largely responsible for these thefts. Some of the items were transferred to the Jeu de Paume and were catalogued under the BN and FRE collection labels while others were sent to ERR HQ in Brussels, on rue du Chatelain. |
