On December 3 , 1941 the art dealer Gustav Rochlitz exchanged four ‘degenerate’ paintings by Matisse for a painting by Jan Brueghel I, titled “The Port of Antwerp”. All four Matisse paintings belonged to Paul Rosenberg. This painting is identical to PR 24 | ||||
