| Provenance and Comments: | Goering gave this picture to the Fischer Gallery in Lucerne, Switzerland, on 12 July 1941 as part of Exchange #1. [Goering Collection report, p.130]. Equated with a painting by E. Lucas entitled "Fleeing Women" also in the Kann Collection. The painting was removed from the Jeu de Paume on 12 December 1941. Returned to Fischer Gallery in Lucerne, Switzerland, on 5 July 1951 as reported on 25 June 1952. [Swiss Court report, pp.3-4]. | ||||
