Provenance and Comments: | The most famous version of this painting is at the Hermitage Museum. This version's measurements are much smaller than the Hermitage one. The question is: did Paul Rosenberg own a very good copy or did Poussin paint several versions of "Zenobia", one of which he acquired? |
