Sitzgarnitur, bestehend aus Sofa und zwei Sesseln. |

Holzgeschnitzt, grau gestrichene und teilvergoldete Gestelle (neu).
Sofa: Vier gerade, nach unten spitz zulaufende, kannelierte Beine, gerade, leicht geschwungene Zarge mit Blattfries und Quaderrosetten über den Beinen. Ovale Sitzfläche. Rück- und Armlehne bogig ineinander übergehend, die Kante mit Perlstab und Blattfries, der durch zwei Kugeln unterbrochen wird, geschmückt. Querovale Rücklehne.
Sandfarbener Bezug mit Blumensträussen in Petit-Point-Stickerei, mit Messingnägeln befestigt.
Sessel: entsprechend gestaltet, Rücklehne in Medaillonform.

Although the ERR inventory points to 3 armchairs in this particular set, the French restitution files intimate that 4 armchairs fall under LH 42. It could be that the additional armchair (LH 42 D) is in fact the armchair (LH 43 f) that apparently had not been shown as repatriated. |
