| Provenance and Comments: | Goering had set aside this picture for the Fischer Gallery in Lucerne, Switzerland, on 12 July 1941 as part of Exchange #1. [Goering Collection report, p.130]. The painting was removed from the Jeu de Paume on 12 December 1941. Apparently, it was still in Goering's possession in November 1942 since it was packed in a crate at the Jeu de Paume. | ||||
