Goering gave this picture to the Fischer Gallery in Lucerne, Switzerland, on 12 July 1941 as part of Exchange #1. [Goering Collection report, p.130]. The painting was removed from the Jeu de Paume on 12 December 1941. Presumably, this painting appears on a Neuschwanstein List. Returned to Fischer Gallery in Lucerne, Switzerland, on 5 July 1951 as reported on 25 June 1952. [Swiss Court report, p.4]. |
