| Provenance and Comments: | Returned to M. A. for sale. This painting once belonged to Stephan Osusky, former Czech Ambassador to France before WWII. It was stored with many other paintings owned by Osusky and his wife at the home of James-Armand de Rothschild before the German invasion of France. It was slated for transport to Nikolsburg on 1 August 1944. But the train never left Paris. | ||||||||||||||||||||
