Provenance and Comments: | This item was in a crate supplied by the Schenker company and stored at the German Embassy in Paris in the summer of 1940. This item was taken to the German Embassy in Paris but never made it to the Jeu de Paume. It was located in Germany, repatriated through the Munich Central Collecting Point (MCCP). According to the MCCP, this Aubusson had been sent to Buxheim from which it was repatriated. |
