Provenance and Comments: | This painting was removed from one of the Rothschild homes and taken to the Hotel Commodore in Paris and placed under the supervision of Dr. Schiedlausky, as a member of the ERR. The painting was set aside at the Jeu de Paume for Goering to hand over to Hitler. After the Liberation of Paris, it was offered to be part of an exhibit organized by the CRA in 1946. |
