Title: | Portrait de Mme. H. S. |
Description: | Gouache 50 x 50 cm |

Provenance and Comments: | There is a remote possibility that this work is identical to H.S. 3 by Emil Orlik. Until such time as that can be demonstrated and additional information can be garnered about Max Orlik, this gouache will be considered as distinct from Emil Orlik's portrait of a woman labeled as H.S. 3 by the ERR. However, there is no indication of the fate of this painting. All that is known is that it was plundered by the Dienststelle Westen of the ERR at the same time as the rest of Hugo Simon's collection. |
