| Provenance and Comments: | There is a slight possibility that this painting by Khnoppff is identical to Belg MA-B 2, and, hence, was carded twice at the Jeu de Paume. BN 53 was processed on September 20, 1943, with a description provided by an ERR official in Brussels. Belg MA-B 2 was processed in Paris on January 31, 1944, by the ERR team at the Jeu de Paume. Could it be that this is simply a case of bureaucratic bungling? | ||||
