Provenance and Comments: |
Oppenheimer-Errera property was removed on orders of the Quartieramt, Orstkommandatur, Place Rogier. It was transferred first to La Continentale Menkès. The next transfer point was the German depot at rue de Pont-Neuf, There, agents of the Dienststelle Westen in Brussels selected objects for transfer to Germany. Those were then taken to another German depot at rue de Transvaal in Brussels. This object was then transferred to the Brüsseler Treuhandgesellschaft and, from there, transferred to the Jeu de Paume in Paris. |
