This item was in a crate at the Jeu de Paume in the first half of 1941. ERR records indicate that this painting was returned to Marie-Therese Malye, 16, rue Perignon, Paris, in May 1943, on behalf of Orazio de Benedictis. It had been initially misplaced in a crate labeled "Collections diverses" at the Jeu de Paume. Dr. Tomfelder removed this painting from its "collections diverses" crate. |
