| Provenance and Comments: | This item was in a crate supplied by the Schenker company and stored at the German Embassy in Paris in the summer of 1940. There does appear to be an item in the Koblenz records in B323/288 or in the ERR registration cards which documents an item numbered as VII, 12. It might be a typographical error signaling VII, 2, which one can find in the Koblenz documentation as part of the Paul Rosenberg collection but amalgamated into the SEL collection by German Embassy personnel in the summer of 1940. |
