| Provenance and Comments: | This painting was part of a group placed in safety with the Louvre on 19 October 1939. It was subsequently confiscated as "non-Aryan" on 7 July 1941. It was considered for possible exchange and was handed over to Martin Fabiani. As of the early 1950s, the French government listed this painting by Bonnard as unrestituted. | ||||||||||||||||||||
