| Provenance and Comments: | This painting was seized at the BNCI in Libourne. On February 25, 1942 the art dealer Gustav Rochlitz exchanged three ‘degenerate’ paintings by Gaugin and Pissarro for a painting by Roeland Savery, titled "Noah’s Arc”. The paintings belonged to Paul Rosenberg, Raoul Meyer and Max Heilbronn. This painting could be the same one that Hermann Goering shipped in November 1942. | ||||||||||||
