| Provenance and Comments: | This object was packed at the Jeu de Paume in crate G 8 earmarked for Goering. However, the ERR inventory of the Wassermann collection does not connect this painting with Hermann Goering. This might mean that there was a second selection of works from the Wassermann collection which went to Goering, while the rest were shipped to ERR depots. This item was sent to Fussen and returned to the Jeu de Paume in 1942 where it was subsequently repacked. | ||||||||||||
