| Literature: | On the back of the painting is a name: "Octave Mirbeau" and a notation whether Mr. Mirbeau was the owner of the painting. But he died in 1917. At the very least he could have been one of the previous owners of this work by Maclet. Removed from its crate at Kogl to be photographed on 19 February 1945. | ||||||||||||
