The Devisenschutzkommando (DSK) confiscated it from the vault in which it had been placed at the Banque Morgan et Cie. in Paris. This painting was handed over to Hans Wendland. According to French restitution records, this painting by Goya was discovered in Switzerland and returned to France by the Swiss Compensation Office. | ||||
