| Provenance and Comments: | Although this bronze statuette was repatriated to France from the MCCP, there is no indication in the French restitution records that it was in fact restituted to Marcel Kapferer. Moreover, the MNR website of the French Ministry of Culture carries an item which bears a striking resemblance to this bronze statuette labeled as Rec 3 S ; R 3 ; RF 3250 by the French government.
