Provenance and Comments: | Considered for exchange. The painting was exported to Switzerland where it allegedly ended up at the gallery run by Christoph Bernoulli. Raoul Meyer filed a lawsuit in 1952 seeking to recover the Pissarro. On a list of works of art marked as not restituted as of 9 December 1952. This painting is currently hanging at the Fred Jones, Jr. Museum of Art at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK. See Pissarro |
